Creeksong Audiobook Launch
We are launching my new audiobook book about climate change in a few days.
Creeksong is a book about everything that matters to everyone. For example: a terrifying childhood in a dysfunctional family in a raw, new Vancouver suburb in the forties and fifties. Trying to forge an identity as an immigrant woman professional in sexist Australia in the sixties. Love, sex, betrayal, and feminism. And my transformative year at Humpty Doo, learning to listen to a rainforest and sit in (and sing with) an ephemeral creek. Thus, my title: Creeksong: One Woman Sings the Climate Blues.
This immersive audiobook has been produced in the “radio play” format. So, it’s packed with special effects and music, including original music composed for the audiobook.
